Wow the dishes all look positively scrumptious!
I have to admit I am super careful with my diet, but I am right there with you on the walking. I walk up to 20,000 steps a day and cycle too. I've never felt fitter.
I threw away the scales years ago.
I think you have nailed it in your comment 'stop when you feel full.' If I was enjoying a dish I used to carry on gobbling until I felt fit to burst, but now I have to stop because my stomach has shrunk. At first this felt quite strange but now I love the fact I can appreciate food without having to unzip!
