What a brilliant story! I used to see men that looked a bit like my father after he passed but never an exact doppleganger. Usually it was what they were wearing or the way they walked. It must have been such a strange feeling for you.

Once in a restaurant, a woman kept staring at me to the point of rudeness. Eventually when I'd finished my meal she came over. She thought I was Sharon Davies the Olympian swimmer! Of course closer up she could see I wasn't, but we do have the same face shape and hair colouring. I was sort of flattered, even though Sharon Davies is a little older than me...
