Thank you for explaining all this, it must have taken a lot of hard work so I really appreciate your efforts. It makes sense and I hope that Medium manage to do a good job of expelling the spammers.

On the whole I think they already do. Certainly compared with many social media platforms.

Fluctuating earnings are difficult but when you understand the whole business model and issues associated, it makes you realise what a big job it is for Medium to deal with.
