Photography: The Photos That Sell Best for Me.
Whether it be prints, or stock photos, this one subject makes me the most money.
It is difficult to tell whether it is because I have spent an inordinate amount of time on beaches since I moved to Norfolk or whether, like me, everyone loves coastal images, but these are the prints and stock photos that sell the best for me.
Since the 2020 pandemic, for a variety of reasons, I have spent most of my time shooting city scenes.
Certain city landmarks do sell well, but generally it is still the seascapes, sand, and beach huts that bring in the most revenue.
Worldwide, the county I live in isn’t all that well known.
Photos of the city usually sell to former residents who are nostalgic for the enjoyable times spent here. I can tell this because the majority go to the USA or Australia, both English-speaking countries.
Many of my old school friends live in one or the other, and I know how nostalgic they get.
Pre-pandemic, I spent every available day at the coast, and over time, this has continued to pay…
