I totally agree. I often have people ask if I make a living from what I do, and I have to explain how much more there is to writing than just that.

A radio presenter announced me as an author when interviewing me yesterday and that felt brilliant. Up until then, I always called myself a writer. But now I have published 5 books, I feel I've earned that title.
