How I Harnessed the Power of Hypnosis: 5 Life-Changing Benefits.

It’s not all about running around like a chicken!

A friend of mine often mentions that she is afraid of flying. She works herself up into a state of anxiety every time she has to travel by air.

Her doctor used to give her a mild sedative before she flew but no longer issues it.

I suggested she try hypnotism.

She looked horrified. “I don’t want to start running around like a chicken!”

I explained that I didn’t mean she should go to a stage hypnotist, but she remained sceptical.

My fascination with hypnosis has evolved quite recently. It has been a natural follow-on from practicing meditation.

Paul started out as a stage hypnotist, but his desire to help people led him to practicing hypnosis as a therapy.

I began listening to his YouTube hypnotherapy sessions, and I must admit that they have had a profound effect on me.

Whenever I need a positivity, or healing boost, I take 20 minutes out of my day to listen to one of his hypnotherapy videos.

Of course, there are many hypnotherapists you can listen to via YouTube or Spotify, or I imagine, any streaming service. I only mention Paul McKenna as I have known of him for many years.

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, so you stay aware throughout the session and can stop at any time.

Here are five benefits of hypnotism I am enjoying; I am sure there are many more.

1. Positivity

While generally an optimist and a positive person, like most people, there are times when I struggle. I constantly strive for success in my writing and business, but often, it feels more like an up-mountain struggle than an uphill one! Whenever I feel I am sinking…
