Funnily enough, when I lived in Athens I was drinking 7-8 cups of coffee a day. I think it was probably the first time I'd had it as I can't remember drinking it back in the UK during my teens. Or maybe it was just more exotic in Greece.

The Turkish coffee fascinated me. A little cup half full of sludge. But it looked super cool to drink.

When I returned to the UK, I carried on my coffee drinking until my twenties when I suddenly developed palpitations. Long story short, it was the caffeine. Tragedy! So I gave up drinking more than one coffee a day.

Then my sister, who lives in Spain, found an amazing decaffeinated filter coffee and started bringing it over when she visited.

My boyfriend loves coffee and I bought him a Moka pot. He says it is the best present he has ever had. He grinds the beans and thankfully we can now get quality decaffeinated ones. So hooray! I can enjoy coffee without any trouble.

Sorry to go on so long, but coffee is a hot topic around here. See what you started!
