A friend asked me if I would photograph her wedding under the strict instruction that the pictures were not to go on social media. All of her guests were instructed the same.

I would not have thought of posting them on social media anyway without her express permission.

As it happened I caught COVID so couldn’t do it anyway.

I do think that it is important to ask permission before posting pictures or anything about someone else on social media.
