£10k per month — the magic number?

This number keeps cropping up in my feed; is it the magic number? It seems that quite a few people are achieving it, or so we are to believe.

Let’s not beat around the bush. I would love to be earning £10k per month from my online efforts.

I have around 5k digital assets for sale online, including photography, books, merchandise designs, and blogs. So far, I am making nowhere near £10k per month; even £1k per month would be amazing.

To be fair, it is only in the past year that I have had time to go full throttle with my online endeavours, and I know it can take several years to achieve good results, but still, the £10k target seems like a huge target to reach for.

While I eagerly read through these articles claiming such amazing monthly swag, it is obvious that there is no way around the hard slog of pounding the keys every day and being creative and marketing like a mad monster.

As is always the case at this time of year, my sights are set on the year ahead. My ambitions are huge. At the risk of sounding like Del Boy and Rodney from Only Fools and Horses, this time next year, I will be a millionaire. Aha! We will see if my energy and persistent endeavours match my ambition.
