1 in 30 women get raped or assaulted in the UK every year. 1 in 12 get violently attacked. Most women I know have experienced some kind of assault or nasty circumstance.

At 17 I lived in Athens and it always felt safe there but that was a long time ago. I found it hard coming back to the UK.

I prefer it when all can mix safely but it is almost like segregation may end up being the answer if women continue to be attacked.
